Bill Sommers - Retail Sales Manager
If you've ever seen the cartoon drawings in our print ads that is Bill's handiwork. Drawing all of his life, Bill now draws on years of experience in retailing in his role as Retail Sales Manager. A dedicated husband and father to three kids, Bill also finds time to enjoy his hobby as a motorbike and scooter fanatic. Lynn Ostrowski - Office Manager, Corporation Secretary/Treasurer
Lynn manages the business end of our business and has been doing so since 1990. She is also an important member of the Lumber Traders Management Team. Sharing a beautiful home in the hills with her husband Matt and their Corgi pups, Lynn enjoys gardening, shopping, and reading. Lynn also knows the way to Northern California as she makes yearly drives there to visit her parents, with her Corgi's in the back asking, "Are we there yet?" Brian Furford - Metal Fabrication, Roofing Contractor Sales
Brian.... a.k.a "Tinman, Bender, or "The Metal Guy", is the one responsible for keeping our metal fabrication shop humming. Brian's custom handiwork can be seen all over the North Olympic Peninsula, and his offerings include everything from basic roof flashings to creative copper work. Brian works hard to turn his quality craftsmanship out in a timely manner to keep our valued customers on schedule. When he's not hard at work in his well equipped fab shop, Brian, the family man, enjoys hunting and fishing and also teaches certified hunter's safety courses. Dave Olson - Contractor Sales, Purchasing
Dave is a woodworker, a boat builder, a fisherman and a vintage race car buff. Beyond all that Dave has also been a long-time member of our Contractor Sales Dept. Jim Lidback - Inventory Control Coordinator
Starting his career with Lumber Traders in June of '07, Jim spent his early days in retail sales. In no time at all, his duties were expanded to include Safety Coordinator and Special Order Receiving. Jim's attention to detail served him well as he was tapped to become our Inventory Control Coordinator. He also serves as chairperson on the company Employee Ownership Committee. When not controlling inventory, Jim can be found at his country home with his wife Renee and their seven wonderful kids. Kim Beus - Farm & Feed Manager
Kim began her career with the company in 2003 and took on the role of Marketing Director for our Lumber Traders stores shortly after. Tapping into seemingly boundless energy and enthusiasm, Kim has now turned her focus to managing our farm lifestyle and feed product lines. Kim’s years of experience and her ability to serve our customers with good information and advice has created a loyal customer base for Kim and the Hartnagel family. Kevin Wiegel - Contractor Sales
Do you need help with a challenging project? Well Kevin loves a challenge and is the man you need to see if you're looking for a project estimate or you're putting together a building material package to keep your job on schedule. Kevin first sat down at his desk at Hartnagel's in 1997 with a solid background in contractor sales and has been keeping our customers happy with his service ever since. Kevin's home time is spent with his wife Mindy, and keeping his humble abode in top shape. James Snodgrass - Lumberyard Service
Affectionately called "Helpful Jimmy" by a number of our contractor customers, Jimmy has earned this nickname by maintaining a high standard of customer service. Always in top physical shape, Jimmy works hard serving our customers as well as at home as a husband and dad. When you roll into our yard, expect to be treated special when Jimmy greets you.

Charles West - Retail Sales, Receiving
Chuck is in charge of receiving our incoming inventory, distributing it throughout the store, merchandising it, then hustling to the sales counter to sell it to you, our valued customers. Mike Johnson - Lumberyard Service
A welcome addition to our lumberyard crew in 2008, Mike brings years of forklift operators experience to his job. Having worked at KPly in Port Angeles for eight years, Mike's skill level in material handling is top rate. A father of one young daughter, Mike relaxes in his down time by collecting comics and listening to the soothing sounds of "The Motor City Madman", Ted Nugent. Dave Dornbush - Delivery Driver
Now in his second stint here at Hartnagel's, Dave is a reliable hand in our yard and on the road taking care of your jobsite delivery. Dave can be found operating any truck in our fleet, but when we need a boom truck on the job, Dave is our man. Dave doesn't just have hobbies to occupy his free time, this husband and dad has a plasma cutting business to run. Count on Dave for great customer service in our yard or on the road.

Ted Frogge - Retail Sales
Do you remember '92? Well, way back then Ted left Port Angeles to work in a Seattle area distribution business in wholesale maintenance supplies. As the operation grew, so did the opportunities for Ted to rise in the company, which eventually landed him in Arizona. Selling supplies for multi-family housing units has given Ted a great deal of product knowledge that he has since brought here to Hartnagel's and our customers. Ted, along with his wife and two girls recently purchased his grandfathers farm between Port Angeles and Sequim, and spends his days off working on the old homestead. Dave Goolsby - Retail Sales
Our online PVC customer contact Dave with their orders. The happy guy at the sales counter, yep that's Dave too. The man behind the paint counter mixing a gallon of paint to just the tint you need, that's right, Dave again! Otherwise known as "Goose", Dave come to Hartnagel with a background in retail hardware and lumber sales. Living out west along beautiful Lake Crescent, Goose likes putting around his quiet surroundings on his Honda GoldWing. Mike Deese - Retail Sales
Mike came onboard here in 2005 in our lumber yard and took great care of our customers but has since moved into a retail sales position inside the store. Mike rose to the challenge of a new role and has been hustling ever since. Along wiht the new position came new opportunities. Mikw was selected as a member of the Advertising and Promotions Committee and maintains a position on our Employee Ownership Committee as well. When visiting our store during a promotional event, be assured that Mike played a large part in putting the show together. When not involved in all of the above, Mike cools his heels with his wife and little girl and wrestles his dog in the yard. Joe Criel - Delivery Driver, Lumberyard Service
Ever wonder who unloads all those bundles of shingles onto the rooftops? Well, Joe is our man. He prides himself on getting the product to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
